I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and a BA in Communications Media Art. I am the author of the urban fiction novel Life’s Rollercoaster, two poetry collections—Mouth Wide Shut and Bitter Sweet—and my recently published children’s book Hello Summer. Writing has always been my first love. Becoming a successful writer has been my dream since adolescence. Although it once seemed out of reach, I never gave up; instead, I pushed harder to make it my reality.

Today, I am a published author, screenwriter, poet, music composer, and playwright. My creative works have been featured in Chicago State University’s 10-Minute Play Festival, selected by the Chicago Indie Film Awards, named a quarter-finalist by Wiki: The World’s Fastest Screenplay Contest, and a semi-finalist by the Big Apple Agents and Managers Networking Lab via FilmFreeway.com. I am also preparing to film my TV pilot, an adaptation of my urban fiction novel Life’s Rollercoaster. My Master of Fine Arts degree has strengthened my craft and expanded my creative vision.

With a strong foundation in literature, radio and television broadcasting, screenwriting, videography, and communications, I continue to write prolifically across genres. It brings me immense gratification to bring my stories to life and to share my creativity with the world.
